What You Get With Design & Construct
- An on-site consultation where we assess the space, soil, drainage, sunlight, access, fall heights and sight-lines.
- Concept drawings — plans and elevations with materials, surfacing and compliance called out — costed before you commit.
- The build itself, by one in-house team: carpentry, surfacing, shade and planting.
- AS 4685 sign-off, a compliance pack and a walk-through at handover.
- A maintenance schedule so the space stays safe after we leave.

Design and construct is for anyone who wants one team responsible for the whole play space, rather than a designer, a builder and a surfacing contractor working separately. We deliver it for schools, councils, childcare services, resorts and family backyards.
Playscapes is the playground arm of Gadd Group, so the landscape and environmental team is behind every build. Planting, paths and garden beds are designed together with the play equipment, not added afterwards.
